Getting Started

Recreate Fitness.  Our name says it all.  At Recreate Fitness, our mission is to help you achieve your optimum fitness level in a fun, supportive and friendly environment.  From day one, you’ll notice there’s something different about us.  We’ve traded in mirrors and machines for hopscotch and hurdles.  You’ll see people running, jumping, swinging kettlebells, working hard, and having fun.  You’ll get personal attention to help you take your physical fitness to the next level. 

Getting Started

At Recreate Fitness we offer 1-on-1 private training, small group, and large group training.  Our group classes consist of complex and varied movements and we recommend getting basic skills mastered before joining them.  The way you choose to get started will depend on your personal goals and your current level of fitness.  There are two ways to prepare for our group classes:  personal training and the Foundations class.

Every Tuesday and Saturday we encourage individuals interested in our program to come in and experience it for themselves.  As an added incentive we are offering a introductory special of 3 sessions for $30.00. 

 

Start with Personal Training

Most clients begin with personal training for a series of 5-10 sessions.  This is where you will work with a trainer to build your general fitness base and gain familiarity with our movements.  You will find the greatest success with personal training if your needs or goals include:

- weight loss and improved body composition
- extra accountability
- you are new to exercise
- you have specific performance oriented goals
- work on technique and refine basic skills

Your trainer will tailor workouts specifically for your current fitness level and progress you at the proper pace for you.  Following your initial sessions you may then choose to continue private training or join our group classes. 

 

Begin with our Foundations Class

Our Foundations class meets twice a week for 2 weeks.  It is designed specifically for the generally active, injury free individual who wants to join our group classes.  In this class we will introduce our basic movements in a small group format.  Movement techniques will be emphasized as well as a progressive introduction to the intensity levels that are inherent in our group classes.
